This was Trump's second address to the United Nations General Assembly and he used it as an opportunity to emphasize his “America first” ideals. Trump told the assembly, “We reject the ideology of globalism, and we embrace the doctrine of patriotism around the world." Trump's speech drew little applause aside from "a polite round at the end."
