'Veronica Mars' Heads to Hulu for New Episodes According to series star Kristen Bell, an
eight-episode season will premiere on Hulu
next year. The cult series originally aired on UPN and the CW from 2004 to 2007 before it was canceled. It was then made
into a movie in 2014. The show follows Bell as Veronica Mars, a high school student who moonlights as a
private investigator. Series creator Rob Thomas is also coming back to write the first episode and produce the series. Last month, word broke that Hulu was working on a revival of the show. The new season will follow Veronica as she’s hired to investigate the murders of spring breakers in
Daytona Beach, Florida. In addition, Hulu says it will stream the show’s existing three seasons and movie starting next summer.
