Dallas Police Fire Officer Involved In Botham Jean Shooting

According to Business Insider, Amber Guyger, the Dallas police officer who shot dead her black neighbor Botham Jean earlier this month, has been fired. The 30-year-old Gugyer, who was hired by the department in November 2013, has been charged with manslaughter. She was originally put on administrative leave after the September 6 shooting of the 26-year-old Jean. Guyger has told investigators at the time when she shot Jean, her upstairs neighbor, that she confused his apartment for her own.
