Historic trees knocked down by Typhoon Mangkhut

A significant number of trees registered as old and valuable were damaged or even blown down by Typhoon Mangkhut - some were estimated to be more than 100 years old. Experts urged the government and developers to make saving the heritage trees a priority because they will be more vulnerable to extreme weather after recovery.
