Debris Swirls Through Sky as Tornado Rips Through Ottawa and Gatineau

A tornado tore through Gatineau, Quebec, on Friday, September 21, filling the sky with debris.The Weather Channel confirmed a tornado struck Ottawa and Quebec on Friday afternoon, damaging homes and cars and causing power outages to more than 16,000 people.Several roofs were torn off homes, according to CTV. Ottawa Fire Services reported a house collapse and flying debris.Ottawa paramedics said they responded to calls from patients trapped in houses, basements and cars, as well as patients who had injuries from debris and high winds.
