Dallas Cowboys vs Seattle Seahawks Week 3 NFL Preview

The Dallas Cowboys face the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday at
CenturyLink Field. Dallas leads the series record 10-8 and holds a 4-4 overall record when facing the Seahawks in Seattle. Seven of the 18 contests have been decided by a touchdown-or-less, and six of the games have been decided by three-or-more touchdowns.

The key for Dallas on Sunday will be stopping Seattle’s dual-threat quarterback: Russell Wilson. Last season, he led the team in rushing with 586 yards, and scored three of the team’s four rushing touchdowns. The Cowboys’ defense needs another incredible performance like Sunday’s 6-sack game against Eli Manning.

Both teams missed the playoffs last season and are hungry for a winning season this year. The 2017 season marked the first time in Wilson’s career that the Seahawks did not make an appearance in the postseason.

Earlier this week Cowboys Head Coach Jason Garrett remarked on Wilson “ He can beat with his feet on design runs and when he gets out of the pocket he extends plays. He can pass too and really the challenges are everywhere. We have to minimize big plays and rush lanes and cover for a long time. “
