Pak court suspends Nawaz Sharif's jail term, another match fixing in Pak?

The Islamabad High Court has suspended sentences of former premier Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law captain Muhammad Safdar in the avenfield reference. A two-judge bench heard the petitions filed by them challenging the avenfield verdict. Reportedly, the trio will be released from the prison today itself, after completion of formalities. The Sharifs were out on parole owing to the passing away of Nawaz Sharif's wife Kulsoom, who had been suffering from cancer for some time.
