Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Monday launched his party’s campaign in poll bound Madhya Pradesh, known to be a BJP bastion, from Bhopal. Attacking Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Rahul Gandhi accused the chief minister of following in the centre’s footsteps and making thousands of “hollow promises” that he hadn’t kept. Rahul Gandhi drove thorough Lal Ghati square before embarking on a 10-kilometre-long roadshow in a bus and subsequently addressed Congress workers. Ahead of the road show, posters were put up across Bhopal projecting Rahul Gandhi as a ‘Shiva devotee’.
