2 gunned down in efforts to tame insecurity in Kongowea

Two suspected members of a criminal gang have been gunned down near Kongowea market in Mombasa county.
Police in Nyali are reported to have pounced on the duo as they attempted to rob residents few meters from the market.
Mombasa police boss Johnston Ipara who confirmed the incident alleged that the deceased were linked to the killing of a peace committee member stationed in Kisauni.
