The Financial Supervisory Service says foreigners extended their net buying for the eighth consecutive month.
Purchases of local bonds mainly came from Asia and Europe, who bought more South Korean government and monetary stabilization bonds.
Foreigner investors, led by those from the U.S. and Singapore, also bought more local stocks than they sold... for a net buy of 980 million dollars in August.
Their purchases, totaling five-hundred-34 billion dollars, accounted for about a third of transactions on the domestic market.
