Loader pushes massive downed tree out of street after Florence

Cleanup efforts are underway across the coastal Carolina cities affected by Hurricane Florence, which left a trail of debris and destruction as it tore through the east.

This video, filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina on September 15, shows a loader moving a massive tree that had fallen due to the impact of the strong winds.

About 740,000 homes and businesses are still without power, and at least 18 people have died in storm-related incidents. The latest death involved a driver who was killed when they lost control of their pickup truck and struck a tree near Gilbert, South Carolina, local media reported.

The National Hurricane Center said Florence is still expected to produce excessive rainfall as it turns from the Carolinas over the Mid-Atlantic and southern New England early this week.
