Florence Moves on, But Rains Still Fall on North Carolina
  • 6 years ago
Florence was downgraded to a tropical depression in upstate South Carolina on Sunday, September 16, but the storm’s rains still pummeled the Carolinas causing catastrophic flash flooding and prolonged river flooding. This video, shot Sunday morning, shows the wind and rain in Union County, North Carolina, southeast of Charlotte. The driveway winding around the pond also serves as the pond’s dam, and with more rain forecast, it’s in danger of overflowing and the driveway possibly washing out. Credit: Drew Gregory via Storyful
