Battle for JNU: Counting resumes after a 15-hour halt; Left unity leads key races

Counting for the JNU polls has resumed after a 15-hour halt and is set to be completed anytime now. Election authorities had cited 'forcible entry' and attempts to snatch ballot boxes at counting venue. Currently the Left bloc is leading in all key positions and is set to sweep the elections. Meanwhile the Left and ABVP have indulged in a blame game and clashes have also been reported from the university. The CRPF was deployed in the campus area after counting was halted in the morning.
