Are Democrats Struggling To Get Voters To Care About Climate Change?

Last week, leading Democrats rallied around efforts to address climate change at a major summit in San Francisco. But the lingering question remains: Will anyone care? Despite repeated warnings, climate change has long failed to gain traction as a voting issue, says Politico. Trump’s rollback of Obama-era climate policies has done little to bring climate off the sidelines in the midterm elections. Democrats this year have rarely advertised on climate. Meanwhile, California Gov. Jerry Brown warns, "We are headed to perdition if we don’t pull back." He went on to stress, "We don’t have that many years left.”
