Majerhat bridge collapse: West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, says PWD is responsible

The Majerhat bridge collapse prelim report is out. The probe report blames PWD for the collapse. It is due to the lapses on the part of the Public Works Department, that the Majerhat bridge collapse took place. Mamata backs the report and says that action will be taken against the guilty and a new bridge will be built within a year. Majerhat bridge collapse took place on September 4 crushing 3 people to death.
