Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah addressed the media on Thursday reacting on Jammu & Kashmir National Conference’s (JKNC) participation in Panchayat Polls. ““An election which won’t see people’s participation is considered to be an election by Centre, what can we say? We haven’t asked people to not participate or boycott the elections, we have just said that our party won’t take part in it,” he said. Earlier People’s Democratic Party (PDP) announced that they will be boycotting the upcoming Panchayat polls over Article 35A.
