Parts of Hawaii were hit with heavy rain and powerful winds on Wednesday, September 12, as Tropical Storm Olivia made landfall first in Maui and later on Lanai island.

This video, filmed by Luigi Spinillo in West Maui, shows a stream in Iao Valley overflowing.

Authorities issued a flash flood warning for Molokai and Maui as Storm Olivia dumped rain on Big Island, with forecasters saying that five to ten inches of rain could fall in the state.
