भिंड पुलिस ने विष्णु राजावत नाम के युवक को भिंड में शांति भंग करने के आरोप में हिरासत में लिया था. विष्णु को हिरासत में लेने के बाद पुलिस ने विष्णु को लॉकअप में बंद करने के बजाय उसे थाने में खुले में ही बैठा दिया. उसने पुलिस पर पास ही रखी कुदाली से हमला कर दिया.
