Lily and Slash Don't Like Each Other

Slash is quite the aggressive cockerel and has pushed Lily's buttons before.. While it looks as if the dog is the aggressor, because of start time of video, the main reason for Lily's charge is to keep Slash away from me. He was approaching me with an aggressive posture and has bit me several times in the past. It doesn't hurt and is just annoying, but just as a rooster is hard wired to protect a flock, Lily is hard wired to protect her human.

Plus, she's intelligent enough to have already made her decision and remembers that he's a little jerk. I hope Slash's urge to fight fades with a little more age. We shall see!
