ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರಿನ ಕಡೂರು ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗೆರೆ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆದ ೧೫ ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿಗಾಗಿ ಹಾಹಾಕಾರ ಎದುರಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ , ಜನಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ರೂ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಬೇಸತ್ತ ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ಕಳೆದ ಎರಡು ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.


The drinking water for the past 15 days has been triggered by a large town in the Kadur Taluk of Chikmagalur. No matter what the concerned authorities and the demands of the people have requested. The villagers who were tired of this have been protesting over the last two days.
