On Wednesday, an anonymous senior White House official claimed to be part of a resistance inside Trump's White House, thwarting parts of the President's agenda, according to a New York Times op-ed.
According to CNN, the Times said disclosing the name of the official would jeopardize their job, and so publishing the piece anonymously was the only way to deliver an important perspective to readers.
