Union Minister of Home Affairs Rajnath Singh felicitated the medal winners of the 18th Asian Games 2018 with cash awards. Rajnath Singh was accompanied by Union Minister of State (IC) for Youth Affairs and Sports Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore. The individual gold medal winners were given Rs. 30 lakh and the silver and bronze winners were given Rs. 20 and Rs. 10 lakh each. India registered its best ever medal haul in the history of the Asian Games, winning 69 medals which included 15 gold, 24 silver and 30 bronze
