President Trump on Tuesday slammed Democrats in reference to Brett Kavanaugh's hearings.
President Trump took to Twitter Tuesday afternoon and commented on the confirmation hearing for his Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
"The Brett Kavanaugh hearings for the future Justice of the Supreme Court are truly a display of how mean, angry, and despicable the other side is," Trump wrote. "They will say anything, and are only looking to inflict pain and embarrassment to one of the most highly renowned jurists to ever appear before Congress. So sad to see!" Trump continued.
The Tuesday hearing got off to a rocky start, with a number of Democrats pushing for a delay due to the very late release of roughly 42,000 pages of relevant documents, notes the Washington Post.
