Giuliana Rancic returned to her roots today when she rejoined her old cast to co-host E! News after three years away. She announced earlier this summer that was coming back to the show in a statement. “Returning to host E! News is every bit as thrilling to me today as it was 16 years ago when I joined the show and embarked on this wonderful career.”
She left the show in 2015 to focus on her family and after a rollercoaster year. At the time, she was also slammed for making distasteful jokes about Zendaya‘s Oscar look and had been feuding with other co-host, Maria Menounos.
The 44-year-old went back to work today and E! News captured it all. In the clip above, Giuliana explores the studio at 10 Universal City Plaza in California and meets up with friend and co-host, Jason Kennedy. The two besties sipped some sparkling champagne to celebrate her return to the network.
“I’ve been looking forward to this moment for a freaking long time. Welcome back, baby! G’s back!” Jason couldn’t help but squeal over this BFF. The clinked their glasses and toasted to a new beginning. The clip also shows the mother of one getting all glammed up and ready to conquer pop culture news.
