Chinese designer uses 3D printer to build 'light emitting boobies' - or LEBs for short

All eyes in the nightclub turned to Naomi Wu when she walked in, their attention drawn to her literally flashing breasts.

The designer from Shenzhen in China's Guangdong Province created the device after being inspired by an American porn star shining a flashlight on her fake boobs.

Realizing that simply sticking the lights to her bra would be too hot, she set out to create a wearable version, which she built using fiber-optic cables, a camera holster, and contraptions designed with a 3D printer.

Wu said her design has proved controversial, with many saying that it's an affront to feminism and a feminist plot so she could get angry at guys staring at her. The developer doesn't see it that way, though.

"It's just a bit of fun with tech," she said. "Blow up a car, though, and the same people think you're a DIY genius.''
