Japan struck by Typhoon Jebi

Heavy rain and strong winds battered western Japan as Typhoon Jebi struck. Shops and tourist spots closed and more than 600 flights were cancelled. The Japan Meteorological Agency forecast that the typhoon will continue heading north.
