Heavy rains triggered severe flooding across the Midwest on Monday, September 3, with counties in Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin under weather warnings.

This video, taken in downtown Cedar Falls, Iowa, shows cars on a flooded road at around 2 pm.

Tropical Storm Gordon is currently drenching parts of Florida as it threatens to strengthen into a Hurricane on its way towards the coastlines of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.

The National Weather Service has issued a hurricane warning for a large section of the Gulf Coast between Louisiana and Florida, where the storm could make landfall as a category one hurricane by Tuesday evening.
