A woman carrying baby was involved in a dangerous high-speed chase.

A woman was taken into custody after leading Texas troopers on a high-speed chase, crashing into another car, and, with a baby in tow, attempting a carjacking, notes KSAT.  Fox News reports the incident occurred in Bexar County in June.  Aerial footage recently released by the Texas Department of Public Safety shows a Mercedes SUV reaching speeds of up to 100 miles per hour, crossing medians, and, for a time, driving into oncoming traffic.  The vehicle ultimately crashes into another car and the driver, identified as Caitlyn Rodriguez, takes the child in a car seat out of the back and continues to flee on foot.  She soon after attempts to enter into another car, but is apprehended in the process.
Rodriguez, who had outstanding warrants, was initially stopped for a traffic violation.
