Iconic Littlewoods building in Liverpool engulfed in flames

The old Littlewoods building in Liverpool was engulfed in flames late last night (September 2).
The iconic landmark in the city was ravaged by flames at around 8 pm. More than 50 firefighters tackled the blaze throughout the night into the early morning.
No injuries have been confirmed by the emergency services. The structural integrity of the building, which has been investigated, was said to be of no immediate concern although parts of the roof have been destroyed.
The building on Edge Lane near the Wavertree Botanic Gardens was soon to be developed into a centre for television production.
