Washington’s bitterly divided leaders came together on Friday to praise the late Senator John McCain.
Republicans and Democrats called a temporary political truce to honor McCain. This, on the third of five days of memorial celebrations for the veteran and two-time Republican presidential candidate.
Reuters says Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell said of McCain, “He would fight tooth and nail for his vision of the common good.
