Hizbul Chief Salahuddin's son arrested by NIA in 2011 terror funding case

National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided the residence of Syed Shakeel Ahmad, and arrested him from Rambagh area of Srinagar, sources said on Thursday. NIA raided the residence of Shakeel early in the morning they said, adding they conducted searches and arrested him. Shakeel is the son of Hizb ul Mujahideen chief, Syed Salahudin. Shakeel is the second son of Salahudin who has been arrested by the NIA. The probe agency last year arrested Syed Shahid, in money laundering case and he is lodged in Tihar jail, Delhi. Shakeel’s family sources told Kashmir Reader that he is working as Senior Lab Technician, in SKIMS, Soura from last 30 years and has nothing to do with politics.
