Canadian PM says NAFTA agreement possible by Friday

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says a deal on the North American Free Trade Agreement could be reached ahead of his U.S. counterpart's Friday deadline.
His comments on Wednesday came as trade officials from the two countries resumed talks on NAFTA.

"………..We recognize that there is a possibility of getting there by Friday, but it is only a possibility, because it will hinge on whether or not there is ultimately a good deal for Canada. I said from the very beginning - No NAFTA deal is better than a bad NAFTA deal.………"

The negotiations came after the U.S. and Mexico made a tentative trade deal, which President Trump threatened to make bilateral if Canada was not on board with the revised trade terms.
