Shivpal further said, "I have created a socialist secular front for the good workers of SP. Even before the results of the UP Assembly elections in 2017, Shivpal Yadav had announced the formation of the Samajwadi Party Secular Front. Now they have appealed to the people of SP whoever they want can become part of this front.
