Pres. Moon calls on public organizations to serve the people, not power

President Moon Jae-in met Wednesday with officials from some 240 public-sector organizations to impress on them the importance of their role in working with the private sector.
His audience included the heads and other officials of state-run companies and government commissions.
The President also emphasized once again that their service should be focused on the people, not those with power.
He then urged them to lead the government's push for innovation-led growth and boost support for and investment in the new energy sector.
He also addressed his flagship policy of income-led growth, calling it a matter of survival.
The current economic structure, he said, fuels polarization... and can never ensure the country's sustainable growth.
