It's a difficult situation even if we are allowed to push together and make more reunions a reality.
Only about 100 participants each side get to go to at each round.

You're right... one option would be to hold these family reunions regularly.
And some other ways to fundamentally help these families would be, for example, to let them write to each other or visit their hometowns in the other side of the border.
The authorities could also select a few places to serve as meeting spots for them... so that they could freely set a time and see each other.
But these proposals are maybe too idealistic.
The Red Cross says it will continue the discussions with the North... and we'll see how that goes throughout the rest of the year.

Something is better than nothing.
We are working to ensure progress is made, not just HOPING for drastic changes.
