Hema Malini and daughter Esha Deol took to the ramp on Sunday at the Lakme Fashion Week 2018 and their traditional appearance had the social media applauding. The mother-daughter duo looked nothing less than regal as they sashayed down the runway in vibrant outfits by designer Sanjuktta Dutta. After the ramp appearance, Esha was upset when she and Hema arrived backstage for media interaction and photo op but was interrupted mid-sentence. Hema and Esha were asked about walking the ramp together and their outfits. Hema said she was glad to have walked the ramp for a designer who was helping empower women in Assam. She also said she was going to promote Esha’s film, Cakewalk, and encouraged her daughter to say more about the film. This is when the organisers interrupted and said that this is not an interaction for the media but a photo op. An upset Esha Deol walked off, followed soon by her mother.
