Production Put On Hold For ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy, Vol. 3’ After Gunn's Firing

According to a report by Rolling Stone, production on Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3, has been put on hold following the firing of director James Gunn over years-old tweets that contained references to pedophilia and rape. Variety reports that crew members hired to begin pre-production on the film were dismissed from the project and allowed to look for other work. Filming was reportedly scheduled to begin in early 2019, however no release date had officially been set.
