Pope Francis has arrived in Dublin, Ireland on August 25, becoming the first pontiff to visit the country in nearly 40 years, for the World Meeting of Families over two days.

The Pope's arrival in the country is expected to attract unprecedented protests over clerical sexual abuse scandals.
