Republican Senator McCain Ending Cancer Treatment

is discontinuing medical treatment for an aggressive form of brain cancer, his family said.
They released a statement on Friday, a year after he announced his diagnosis.
“John has surpassed expectations for his survival,” the family said, reports Reuters.
The progression and his age, 81, have led McCain to stop treating the “aggressive glioblastoma.”
