A specially-abled man saved couple during Kerala floods.
Sinna Durai from Pathanamthitta heard the couple stuck in water cry for help and he made a makeshift raft with plantain bark and steered them to a higher building.”I heard them cry for help, after which I made a makeshift raft and assisted them to move to an elevated platform. They were rescued immediately,” said Durai. Durai and his 90-year-old mother were on a neighbour's terrace at the time of the incident. There house was destroyed due to floods.
