Supreme Court has given great relief to Mamta Banerjee. The Supreme Court did not give permission for the re-election on the uncontested seats giving relief to the TMC. Although the Supreme Court canceled the order of the Calcutta High Court, in which the High Court allowed the candidates to enroll with e-filing.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने ममता बनर्जी को बड़ी राहत दी है । सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने टीएमसी को राहत देते हुए निर्विरोध निर्वाचन वाली सीटों पर दोबारा चुनाव की अनुमति नहीं दी. हालांकि सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कोलकाता हाईकोर्ट के उस आदेश को रद्द कर दिया जिसमें हाईकोर्ट ने उम्मीदवारों को ई-फाइलिंग से नामांकन की इजाजत दी थी.
