Take a look back at the last century of illegal and banned beauty products, from a 1930s overnight hair remover than included rat poison and the 1940s ban on latex bra inserts, to the 1970s ban on the propellants used in aerosol sprays that deplete the ozone layer and the 1980s perfume Giorgio, which was so strong it was banned by several restaurants.
