London's historic Alexandra Palace was transformed into a seething mass of punk-fuelled energy as the VANS WARPED TOUR rolled into town. The best of punk and metal performing for over 15,000 fans over 2 days - Vans Warped Tour UK is now officially one of the highlights of the festival calendar!
The raucous ATTILA set the tone for the weekend with an explosive set opening the MONSTER ENERGY MAIN STAGE which set the standard for the rest of the bill to match. Happily, every band hit the stage at the peak of their game as RISE AGAINST's politicised anthems rang out around the arena on both nights, PARKWAY DRIVE inspired mosh-pit chaos and what seemed like thousands of crowd-surfers, HACKTIVIST delivered the noise with a brutal set on the JAGERMEISTER STAGE and ENTER SHIKARI's incendiary headline performance was matched by a dazzling lightshow.
With too many highlights to mention, NECK DEEP's set proved to be exceptionally popular, as did CHIODOS, MEMPHIS MAY FIRE, WHILE SHE SLEEPS and YELLOWCARD, while CROSSFAITH and THE SKINTS displayed that they could be future main attractions at the festival. It was also emotional to see the return of SUBLIME WITH ROME who played the very first WARPED TOUR back in 1995 and returned to the festival for the first time since the tragic loss of Bradley Nowell.
