Deepika Singh has been roped in to play the lead in well-known writer Rajita Sharma’s next project. She has penned popular shows like Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and others. The writer is also a popular producer and has co-produced Gangaa, under her banner, Magic Lantern Productions with Sphere Origins. She is all set to come up with a new show, currently titled Patiala Babes, which will go on air on Sony TV.
