HOUSTON — A woman was robbed in broad daylight at a gas station after withdrawing $75,000 from a bank.

The theft took place around 10 a.m. last Friday at the Valero on Cypress North Houston at Highway 290, according to ABC 13.

Video surveillance footage was released by the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's office.

It shows the woman getting out of her car carrying a purse. As she tries to enter the store, a suspect pulls up in an SUV and rushes her from behind, and attempts to snatch the purse with 75 grand.
The woman and the thief get into a violent struggle as a man from inside the store comes running out to help the woman.
As all three people struggle on the ground, the woman manages to get up, but then another car pulls up with a second robber.

Both thieves then start attacking the woman and the man from the store.

At one point, one of the suspects gets into his car, and then backs the vehicle up over the woman. The robbers then proceed to make off with the cash.
Authorities say the suspects had followed the woman from the bank after she made her large withdrawal.
According to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman, one of the suspects has been arrested and the other remains at large.
The woman was transported to the hospital where she is in critical condition.
