It's a NewsX exclusive; NewsX busted a mega nexus between international bookie Anil Jaysinghani alias Sunny Bombay and the police. We bring you the exclusive video and audio tapes that bust the kingpin's nexus with the police. Jaysinghani has been proclaimed fugitive. The Court has said that if the police do not catch him. The court will give the case to the CBI. Jaisinghania is the kingpin of an Rs 800 crore Indian Premier League betting racket of 2015. A report says that he fled the country with the collusion of senior police officers. He was reportedly in constant touch with top cops across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Goa and Assam. A series of raids were conducted by the enforcement directorate in May 2015 against Jaisinghania. His bank accounts were also frozen. Back then, Jaisinghani had claimed that he was a punter and not a bookie. A non-bailable warrant was also issued against him by a special sessions judge of Ahmadabad on May 30, 2015. The bookie was also under the scanner of International Cricket Council anti-corruption and security unit and had been arrested thrice under the gambling and telegraph act. The bookie was closely followed by the ED owing to his close dealings with bookie Mukesh Sharma.
