PM Lee urges gov’t to be on full alert for typhoon Soulik

With Typhoon Soulik approaching the nation, the government is bracing for the storm.
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon presided over a meeting at the country’s disaster control center and called on the safety ministry, the meteorological administration and other relevant ministries to be fully prepared for the typhoon.
Lee urged the inspections of facilities including farms and fisheries, and measures to prevent casualties.
In the case of any emergencies, he also called on the ministries to be ready to respond quickly to minimize damage and losses.
