The Bombay HC has told the Maharashtra government to watch the American series Baywatch to learn how to use modern equipments in order to ensure safety at beaches across the state. The Bombay HC said this in the backdrop of hearing matters related to Ganpati festival visarjan. 5 main measures will be adopted by the municipal corporation to ensure safety. These include posting 93 well-trained lifeguards at beaches across Mumbai. Watchtowers will be erected, safety signs will be put up, red flags will installed at danger zones and mobile vans will be used for patrolling.
