Fed up with changing the pages of his Amazon Kindle, Alex Mikes created a solution.Using an Arduino nano, radio frequency receiver and a micro servo, Mikes created a machine that can turn the page of his ebook for him.A video of the invention, originally uploaded to Gfycat, shows Mikes pressing a remote that triggers the machine to tap the screen and switch the page.Writing on Reddit Mikes describes how he uses his invention (which “importantly does not require line-of-sight”) while he’s tucked under the covers in bed, with his Kindle is held in place by a stand.
