Cars slosh through floodwaters in Madison

A flash flood warning was issued in Madison on Monday afternoon (August 20) as heavy rain struck the city, downing power and waterlogging streets.
This video, shared to Facebook by Shalicia Johnson, shows the flooding at the intersection of Anton Drive and King James Way at around 6:15 pm.
Almost all of southern Wisconsin was put under a flash flood watch for the overnight hours Monday into Tuesday morning. The western side of Dane County saw between three and six inches of rain, with more rain is expected throughout the evening.
